It's Worse Than We Thought: More Crazy Bugs and Glitches in Valorant

It's official: Valorant is a little broken right now. After posting my last video about bugs in the game, I was flooded with comments and messages from players who had experienced similar issues. The number of people who related to the bugs and glitches I showed was immense, and even more clips were sent my way. The situation is way worse than I thought, so I had to make a part two to showcase even more of the bizarre phenomena happening in the game.

Here's a rundown of some of the strangest things happening in the game right now.

The Unexplainable Respawns and Disappearing Enemies

Imagine this: you're in a round, you've just taken out an enemy Clove and Sage. But then, out of nowhere, they both reappear, fully alive. That’s exactly what happened in one clip I received. At first, I thought it might be a combination of their ultimate abilities, but that wasn't the case. Clove was dead for too long to use their ultimate, and Sage didn't even have her ultimate ready. To make it even weirder, the usual "one enemy remaining" voiceover never played. It was a solid, and very unlucky, glitch for the player who lost the round.

Even more frustrating than unexplainable respawns are invisible enemies. Multiple players have sent in clips of enemies turning invisible, and it isn't a one-time thing. I have a theory that this might be connected to another known bug where players who disconnect and reconnect can move their corpse. If a player lags out and reconnects, there's a chance they'll be able to play without a gun and hands, which makes the game look strange to them. My theory is that this specific variation of the bug might cause the player to become invisible to others. This is just a theory though, so if you've experienced this, let me know! I'd love to confirm it.

The Weirdest Kills and Disorienting Visuals

Some glitches are just unfair, like the one that launched an enemy Reyna ten feet into the air. I have no idea how it happened, but it was a very unfair round for that player. In another clip, an enemy's kill was confirmed only after a very long delay, which the player thought might be due to a ping problem.

Then there are the bizarre visual bugs. In one clip, a player using Chamber tried to place their teleporter, but the ultimate glitched, doing a 360-degree animation before an enemy Cypher was accidentally shot with a sniper. It was a truly unfortunate bug. Another strange thing that happened was in a clip where the enemy Phoenix was appearing on the mini-map non-stop, which gave their position away for the entire round.

The most disorienting bug, however, has to be the infinite zoom on a Vandal. A player's zoom broke for a while, and my guess is it happened after they spammed their right-click button, which made them lag. It's a very, very annoying glitch.

Other Unsettling Occurrences

  • Wrong Sound Cues: Sometimes the audio of a body falling will play in a completely different spot from where the player actually died. Luckily, it's a pretty harmless bug.

  • AFK Trolls: Have you ever had an AFK player suddenly "return" for one round, only to remain still and not move? A system message says they're back, but the player is still AFK. The system might be lying, because this happens a lot.

  • Floating Knives: In Deathmatch, a knife will sometimes spawn floating under the ground. It's a fun visual bug that happens for no apparent reason.

  • The Slenderman Spot: A viewer sent in a clip of a glitch where a figure, looking like Slenderman in a T-pose, appeared for a second before vanishing. It was a scary clip, and it happened in a way that couldn't be explained by bad eyesight.

  • The Genius Spot: A viewer named Genius submitted a screenshot of a bug where you can stand on a certain pixel spot on the map and be completely accurate while invisible to enemies. It is extremely annoying if the enemies are playing like this, and it's something Riot needs to fix.

Not All Bugs are Bad?

Surprisingly, not all bugs are bad. There's a beneficial glitch in the practice range that lets you get a better warm-up. Usually, when you practice against bots, 10 will spawn, which makes it feel too easy. However, if you spam the reset button a few times, there's a chance that fewer bots will spawn, which makes practicing a little harder. In my opinion, there should be an option to decide how many bots you want, but hey, as long as this workaround is in the game, I won't complain too much.

Despite all these issues, the game is still playable, but it's clear that Riot has a lot on their plate.
